The Outdoors Show addes Field & Trek to expanding exhibitor list


The Outdoors Show is pleased to announce Field & Trek as the official retailer partner for the 2012 Show. New to the show, Field & Trek will be exhibiting in a 220 square metre stand providing visitors with all the kit and advice they need whatever the outdoor pursuit.

 

Show manager Geraldine Reeve is pleased to add such an established retailer in the outdoors world to the already strong line up of exhibitors saying “The addition of Field & Trek to the show is really positive. It’s the perfect fit for both parties with our visitors looking for all the latest gear and Field & Trek wanting to attract a wider audience during January. We feel it will contribute a lot to the visitor”.

 

New for 2011 Virgin Wines & Beer Boutique will be hosting wine and beer tasting sessions at the Globe Taste Experience area. Visitors will be able to book either a wine/beer session or both. Experts will be guiding visitors through the vineyards/ breweries of the globe with six tastings per session. Visitors will have the chance to purchase their favourite tipple after their session. Tasting ticket prices start from £16.

This year the show has teamed up with TGO Magazine to produce the official showguide. Available from 8th December in retailers across the UK plus distributed free to all advance ticket holders at the show. Readers of TGO magazine, the UK’s leading monthly hill walking magazine, will be able to get a sneak preview of this year’s show and exhibitor list before Christmas or take it home with them after the show.

 

From 10th December London Underground users will start to see The Outdoors Show escalator panels. A key part of the The Outdoors Show pre-show marketing campaign, the panels will stay up until the opening of the show. The escalator campaign will be coupled with advertising across the London Evening Standard and Metro newspapers to reach the active 2,333,333 million people travelling on London Underground every month who are looking for things to do (www.tfl.gov.uk).
